When I was 4, my brother's art teacher saw a drawing I did in his sketch book. She encouraged my parents to let me take private lessons. By age 10 I was painting in oils and eventually I went to college to study art.
I create pieces using acrylic paint and sometimes found objects on canvas or wood. In addition to traditional painter's tools I also use unconventional tools such as my bare hands and chopsticks.
As a wife and mother of small children my life is very hectic but there is also an amazing peace and joy in having my family. I try to share this energy and happiness in my work.
